On March 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Ternana Women presented the Beta version of the multimedia book “Hola – A Dream to Pursue” at the Terni Municipal Library (B.C.T.), in front of an audience of about 200 people, including students from the Leonino, Marconi, San Giovanni Feliciangeli, and Oberdan schools.
The project, which aims to convey essential educational values, is designed for young readers aged 9 to 12, encouraging them to believe in their dreams and uphold the irreplaceable importance of education.
This book represents a new chapter in an editorial journey that follows the success of the first edition, “Hola and the Big Dream – Champions of the Heart”, winner of the S.G.S. Grassroots Awards as Best Educational Project.
Written by Philip Osbourne, author of the best-selling Diary of a Nerd, and illustrated by Roberta Procacci, the book tells the story of Hola, a young Ternana Women footballer, highlighting the determination and drive needed to pursue one’s aspirations.
The central theme is the connection between education and personal growth, and the project stands out for its technological innovation: it is enriched with interactive multimedia content, including video games and exercises for learning English.
Furthermore, thanks to Augmented Reality (AR), the story comes to life in an immersive way, with evolving content over time.
The presentation featured several prominent figures, including Laura Tinari, President of the Women’s Football Division, who emphasized the socio-educational importance of the initiative. Other contributions came from Paolo Tagliavento, CEO of Ternana Women; Dario Gulli, Creative Director of Almond Entertainment; and Viviana Altamura, Councillor for Education, Welfare, and Social Policies of the Municipality of Terni.
Guests of honor also included Alessia Quondam, Councillor for Sport of Narni, and Clara Gorno, member of the Board of the Serie B Division, both of whom reinforced the social value of the project.
A particularly emotional moment was offered by illustrator Roberta Procacci, who created a live drawing of Hola on a large screen, engaging the audience in a unique visual experience.
The event was moderated by Martina Santoro, who skillfully captured the attention of the young audience, creating exciting moments during the group reading of selected passages from Hola alongside the children themselves.
The project, which will be showcased at the Frankfurt Book Fair in November, is supported by the patronage of the Municipality of Terni and the Women’s Football Division, underscoring its educational and social mission.
During the event, free preview copies of “Hola and the Big Dream” were distributed—an additional opportunity to engage young readers and raise awareness of education and dreaming as powerful engines of personal growth.
A special thank-you was extended to all attendees and to everyone who contributed to the success of this ambitious initiative, which strengthens the bond between sport, culture, and personal development.
