“They still say it’s not a sport for women… the same people who don’t even know how to make a STOP!”.

Ternana Women raises its voice once again, on this day too, to remind everyone that gender-based violence remains a deep, open wound in our society. A wound we cannot ignore, because every silence becomes complicity. For this reason, as a club, we believe it is not only impossible to forget, but above all necessary to continue fighting — together — with our voices and our actions.

On the occasion of November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the red-and-green club launches a new social media campaign with a message that is direct, clear, and impossible to misunderstand.

The video features Valeria Pirone, Maria Grazia Petrara, Giada Pellegrino Cimò, Claudia Ciccotti, and Adriana Gomes performing a simple, everyday action — one that lasts a second in football but means the world: the STOP… a gesture that in 2025 we still fail to see made by a society that is far too poorly educated.

STOP means: Stop. Enough. Do not cross the line. It is an absolute, immediate, non-negotiable “no”. And yet, we still find ourselves forced to repeat it — almost shout it.

This campaign is not only an invitation to pause and reflect; it aims to speak directly to the conscience of those who still do not understand how much change is needed.

Ternana Women is here, and will continue to stand up and show its face. Always.
